HR Contract Automation

Employment contracts generated from a Word template in seconds — plus an AI sick-note workflow.

A prototype built for a working-student case on AI in HR: it fills a bilingual Word employment-contract template (document properties and bracket placeholders) from a simple form, and sketches a Claude workflow for handling sick notes.

The problem

Contracts are still filled in by hand from Word templates — slow, repetitive and easy to get wrong, especially with bilingual documents and hidden document fields.

The approach

  • Parse the original template, including its DOCPROPERTY fields and [bracket] placeholders, so the output stays a real, editable Word file.
  • A browser form collects the contract data and produces the finished .docx instantly.
  • Part two: a concept and demo for a Claude-powered sick-note (Krankmeldung) workflow.

The outcome

  • A working prototype judged on the live result, presented as an interview case.
